The Executive Chairman of Wase Local Government Council, Hon Hamisu Mohammed Anani, has assured the Bashar Community of adequate and maximum security in the face of bandits attacks.
Hon. Anani gave the assurance following a plea he made to the Sector II Commandant of the Nigerian Army, Col. Olugbenga Osuntuyi, for the establishment of a military base at Bunyun and Gajin Bashar axis of the council.
Hon. Anani also assured citizens and visitors to the local government of adequate and effective security across the council.
Hon Anani who gave the assurance after giving a matching order to the Sector II commandant of Operation Safe Haven in Wase LGC while on national assignment in the Netherland, said the leadership of the council and the security agencies have been meeting and strategizing on how to maintain and sustain the existing peaceful atmosphere in Bashar District.
Hon. Anani further assured that his administration has keyed into the security agenda of the Governor Caleb Mutfwang on the provision of adequate security while emulating the governor’s style of securing lives and properties.
Hon. Anani also advised youths in the council to be law abiding and cooperate with the security agencies for the progress and socioeconomic development of the area, and also assured that his administration is making concerted efforts to ensure that farmers go back to farm so as to enhance food productivity.
