Troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) which is tasked with restoring peace in Plateau State and Southern Kaduna, have recorded another successful story after they arrested several notorious armed robbers who have been terrorizing Jos North Local Government Area, and also recovered weapons from the gang.
In a statement issued by the Media Information Officer of Operation SAFE HAVEN, Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, the arrests of the suspects were made during troops night patrols on May 24 and 25, 2025.
“Two robbers were apprehended in Naraguta with a pistol, while another was caught near Crest Hotel with a pistol and five rounds of ammunition,” Maj. Zhakom said.
“A follow-up led to a fourth arrest in Massalachin Idi, where another pistol and ammunition were recovered. The suspects are cooperating in ongoing investigations,” he added.
