The former Member Representing Jos South Jos East Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives Abuja, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, has stirred up jubilation in some communities of Jos South / Jos East by installing solar street lights.
In reacting to the gesture, some members of the community extended their deep appreciation to the former member, who, despite being out of office, was able to provide them with these basic amenities.
A community member said the light has enhanced their security vigilance. In another community, a lady said the availability of the light has further boosted her business confidence as she has extended her business time and fear of her goods being stolen mostly in the dark is no more. The communities that got lit up were: Munchongo’pyeng Gyel, Vwang , Turu, Fwil , Chugwi, Zan’g Du, Kwang, Mazaram, Bukuru (Bitrus Bewarang Close), Zamaganda, and Hwolshe (Behind Avis) and Fobour B Ward.
It will be recalled that Hon. Bagos, during his thank you tour to Jos South/ Jos East , assured them of continuous programmes and projects that will enhance the quality of life of the people as well as equip the next generation of leaders. These lights were the third in phase of the Light Up Communities initiatives of the former member.
