Some of us have the name BCM permanently inscribed on our hearts’ tablets, but our brother Dr. Nentawe is also a lovely person. It all comes down to your decision; the Ngas nation and the Mwagavul nation are historical brothers. Along with other things, we had a shared history, culture, and some aspects of our language.
Because of the division of the regions into twelve states by our Hero Nde Yakubu Gowon, the plateau became what it is today. At the time, the governor of the Benue Plateau State was another gallant Ngas son, Late J D Gomwalk.
Today, the amazing carvings created by great sons and daughters of the plateau span many different tribes and religions.
Regardless of the governor, our guiding principle is peace and unity since progress can only take place in a peaceful atmosphere.
Dara Jonah Jang believes in the unity of the plateau and has a great deal of respect for Nde J D Gomwalk’s Jos master plan, which is why PRTV frequently discusses the two JDs throughout his administration.
I had the honour of being present when Mwagavul guy Jerry D Gushop chose his PDP nomination form. He stated that he wanted to work under Nde Gomwalk and Dara Jang as the third J D.
Why, therefore, are we young people in 2023 so divided? What is the outcome? Can we stand for each other, regardless of our ethnicity or religion? It’s time for us to wake up, unite, and fight the common enemy that does not regard any tribe or faith as sacred.
All of us from the plateau region of AMPANG East and South have our preferences for “THE TIME IS NOW” and “GENERATION NEXT,” respectively. Is it not a magnificent miracle that the candidates for the two strongest parties hail from AMPANG of Kanke and AMPANG of Mangu?
It’s time to pray for the development of the Plateau and the success of Governor Mutfwang. Some of Us believe that GCM is the voice of God on the plateau, and I implore those who hold opposing views to pray that God’s will be done. No authority exists that is not from God, according to Romans 13:1.
Time has come. Stay away from politics of animosity and love one another. We own the plateau and look after the plateau.
