There’ll Be No Room For Criminal-Minded Travelers In Nigeria —  NIS CG, Kemi Nandap

According to Mrs Kemi Nandap, Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), says “no room will be let to any travellers with criminal intent via the nation’s windows”.

This assurance was provided by Mrs. Nandap in a statement made on Wednesday in Abuja by Service Public Relations Officer, SPRO, Kenneth Udo. The CG sent sincere congratulations to all Muslim NIS officers and men, as well as to Nigerian nationals and foreign residents.

On the memorable occasion, Mrs. Nandap expressed her congratulations to President Bola Tinubu and Interior Minister Dr. Olubumi Tunji-Ojo. She also praised all Muslims for taking the time to fast and pray for the safety, harmony, and well-being of the nation via a shared dedication and commitment.

She reaffirmed the NIS’s commitment to border security and management while challenging all Nigerians to actively promote godly characteristics on a daily basis.

“I believe in a better Nigeria and I am assuring the nation of the NIS’ renewed determination to make the nation’s borders safe and protected.

“No space will be given to any criminally minded traveller across our windows.

“Only properly documented and authorised migrants, who are capable of creating or adding value through legitimate engagements, are allowed a space to reside in the country, “she said.

Mrs Nandap called for an enhanced synergy among security agencies, saying that “by working together, we can fortify the foundations of national defense, security and development”.
