With the most recent RIAA certification, Tems has increased her record as the most certified Nigerian female artist in the US.
Following the confirmation of two further certifications for the Grammy Award-winning vocalist by the RIAA, Tems has extended her record as the most certified Nigerian female artist in the United States of America. With the two latest additions, she now has a total of four US certifications, which is the most of any female musician from the nation.
The viral song Free Mind has also been certified Platinum in the nation after selling over 1,000,000 sales in the United States of America, while Tem’s tune Higher off her Leading Vibe EP has also been certified gold after selling over 500,000 units in the US alone.
Her manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, expressed his pleasure in response to the singer’s accomplishment on his social networking site X. His post said,
