Portable Confronts Christian Evangelists Over Criticism Outside His Ogun State Bar

Controversial artist Portable recently shared a live video where he reacted to an encounter with a group of Jehovah Witnesses, which quickly gained attention online.

The Zazu singer explained that a group he identified as ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ had assembled outside his bar and restaurant in Ogun State, a place he considers his second home.

Portable stated that the evangelists criticized his lifestyle, labeling him a ‘prodigal son’ because of his extravagant spending habits. The group urged him to reform his ways and turn to God, which he found unsettling.

In the video, Portable expressed his frustration with the group’s approach, highlighting that their messages were unwanted and intrusive.

He pointed out that while he respects religious figures, he didn’t appreciate the manner in which the evangelists tried to impose their views on him.

Despite maintaining strong relationships with pastors, Muslim leaders, and traditional figures, Portable said he felt compelled to take action against the group.

He claimed that he instructed his team to have the evangelists removed from the premises, as their presence was disruptive.

The incident has sparked significant online discussions, with many people weighing in on Portable’s reaction and the actions of the evangelists.
