Continuing the story of a woman named Mrs. Patience Solomon traveling with her friend’s 10-month-old baby from Jos to Lagos a few months ago was found by Nigerian Police on September 4, 2023, in Jos.
It may be recalled that Mrs. Patience Solomon went to Lagos with her friend’s daughter without her consent.
The Plateau State Command of the Nigerian Police revealed Mrs. Solomon to the public after a proper investigation.
Patience Solomon revealed she is already a mother of two and understands what it means to be a mother. She didn’t mean anything bad by leaving with the baby. She expressed her sincere love for the baby, but how could she tell her friend that she wanted to travel with her daughter? A lot of things went through her mind until she concluded that she wouldn’t tell her friend because her friend wouldn’t agree to that.
Mrs. Solomon said that even after she left for Lagos with the baby, she and the mother kept in touch via video calls and she still showed her how the baby was doing.
She added that social media had a negative reaction towards the action, saying she stole her friend’s baby. But that wasn’t her intention. She sincerely apologized to her friend.
She explained that before leaving Lagos for Jos, she reported the situation to the Lagos State Police Command, who contacted Plateau State Command and also reported the situation.
When Mrs Patience arrived Jos, the Plateau State Command of the Nigerian Police Force picked her up at the park, took proper investigation about the situation, and now she is free.
The baby’s mother disclosed that she and Patience live and work in the same places. Patience always plays with the baby, but the day she left for Lagos, she didn’t tell me.
I called Patience and asked about the baby, and she said the baby was with her in Lagos, it’s just that she loves being with the baby, and that’s why she left with her.
