Plateau crisis: Christian pilgrims applaud Remi Tinubu for providing aid to victims

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has received praise from the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Reverend Yakubu Pam, for her recent N500 million donation to 500 families devastated by violent conflicts in Plateau State.

Senator Tinubu’s action was praised by the NCPC boss in a letter entitled “Appreciation For Touching More Lives in My State,” which was made accessible to newsmen over the weekend in Abuja.

a shining example of Christian generosity and humility that we may all learn from.

“It is not just about the amount but the empathy, sense of commitment, as well as the humility of going there to make the donation to those 500 families across six local government areas of Plateau state,” said Reverend Pam, a native of the state.

The Reverend said, “Your commitment to humanity transcends politics, and your selflessness in helping those in need is truly commendable; your very people-focused and positive disposition has not only vindicated those of us who became momentarily the targets of sceptical political opponents’ propaganda for supporting your progressive ideals; you have also helped win many to the side of truth, forgiveness, and truth – even without preaching.”

The head of the NCPC conveyed his sincere gratitude to the First Lady for her “unwavering commitment to the principles of Christian charity” and a recent act of kindness that made a significant difference in many people’s lives in Plateau State.

This is a continuation of your lifelong service to humanity and a shining example of Christ’s teachings on compassion, love, and selflessness in action. “The news of your noble gesture of donating N500m to 500 Plateau families affected by violent conflicts in six local government areas resonated deeply with me and filled my heart with gratitude.

It is clear that you lead by example and are not satisfied with simple words of sympathy but are motivated by a sincere desire to make a real difference in the lives of those who are suffering, according to Reverend Yakubu Pam.

“Your physical presence in Jos to personally deliver this generous gift and to commiserate with the victims is a testament to your exceptional spirit of Christian charity,” he added.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu has reportedly continued to defend her ancestor as a devout Christian whose life of devotion and care for others reflects outstanding leadership, according to the NCPC boss.

“Your words of inspiration to the affected families, imploring them to maintain hope and have faith in God, are a source of strength and consolation in their hour of need. In addition, your leadership as the Chairperson of Renewed Hope Initiative Foundation is a shining beacon of hope, proving that faith without works is in fact dead.

I was also moved to tears by Caleb Mutfwang, the state governor, who praised you and called you “a very compassionate leader with a passion for humanity.”
