The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections in Plateau State, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, has celebrated Governor Simon Lalong on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
Nentawe, who communicated his felicitations to Lalong through his spokesman, Shittu Bamaiyi, on Thursday, said the governor has every reason to give glory to God for his abundant blessings on him in the past sixty years.
He noted that it is “a very rare and special for a person to record such accomplishments like governor Lalong at the age of 60.”
Nentawe also described Lalong as an accomplished legal practitioner, legislator and a consummate leader who has put in his best in the service of Plateau state and the country at large.
According to him, there is no doubt that Lalong has made an indelible mark in the development of Plateau state during his tenure as the governor especially in attracting Federal government presence in the state.
He also gave accolades to Lalong for his untiring commitment in ensuring an enduring peace on the Plateau adding that as the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, he has done a lot in boosting the image of the state in the national polity .
