PEPSA DG Engages Sanitation Stakeholders, Visits Ministry of Environment, Budget, PSIRS

Mr. Samuel Nathaniel Dapiya, the Director General of  Plateau State Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) has quickly commenced his duties, demonstrating a commitment to setting clear goals and plans.

The DG met with agency staff, introduced by former Ag General Manager, Mrs. Anthonia Matshal Shalwul, to outline vision and objectives, aligning with the Time is Now mantra of Plateau Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.

The DG held a strategic meeting with sanitation stakeholders, including security agencies, market women associations, traders, NURTW, journalists, and legal practitioners, to discuss strategies for successful monthly sanitations.

He expressed his appreciation for their contributions and urged their collaboration in restoring Plateau State to its former state.

The DG visited the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Commissioner, Hon. Peter Lamba Gwom, to introduce himself as the new head of PEPSA and pledged to collaborate with the ministry to achieve a clean, safe, and protected environment.

The DG visited the budget and planning office to explore collaborations. He then visited the Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS) to familiarize himself with the service and explore collaborations for Plateau State, as PEPSA has not performed well in this area recently.

Mr. Jim Wayas, Chairman of the Plateau State Internal Revenue Service, pledged to collaborate with other state ministries and agencies to enhance the state’s Internally Generated Revenue.
