Outspoken pastor, Rev. Azzaman, passes away in ghastly road accident

The fiery man of God died in a motor accident on Saturday while returning from Makurdi, Benue State, to Kaduna.

One of the most outspoken and fearless men of God the northern region, Rev. David Ayuba Azzaman, popularly called Rev. Azzaman Azzaman, has passed away following a ghastly road accident.

According to a statement released by his family on Sunday, the Kaduna State-based fiery man of God died in a motor accident on Saturday while returning from Makurdi, Benue State, to Kaduna.

A post shared on Facebook by Rev. Mohammed Mohammed on behalf of the Azzaman family, also confirmed the tragic demise of the popular man of God.

“Rev. Azzaman Azzaman had an accident on his way back from Makurdi. He died alone in the car. May he rest in peace. May the Lord comfort us in the name of Jesus,” Rev. Mohammed wrote.

Rev. Azzaman was the leading pastor of The King Worship Chapel and Ministry, Inc., and a well-known figure on social media, where he often engaged in frequent interfaith discussions and theological debates with his online presence earning him a devoted following among young Christians and religious thinkers.

Born and raised in Kaduna, Rev. Azzaman rose to prominence not through the pulpit alone but through his bold forays into theological debates, often engaging Muslim scholars and atheist thinkers on matters of faith and doctrine.

His approach, while sometimes controversial, earned him respect among peers and critics alike for his command of scripture, history, and philosophy.
