NDE trains graduates on transient jobs in Plateau

On Thursday, the Graduate Attachment Programme (GAP) of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) began its orientation of young people in Plateau state.

The training is one of NDE’s interventions under the temporary jobs for the graduates, according to Malam Nuhu Fikpo, Director General of NDE, in the hopes that the locations of their attachment will perceive a reason to keep you.

The DG stated that graduates who were unable to land white collar employment could simply turn to the Directorate for training that would have a lasting influence on their lives. She was represented by the Plateau State Coordinator of NDE, Mrs. Asabe Ayuba Lassa.

“For those of you who are still in temporary employment locations, you must continue to give your experience your all wherever you may be.

If you feel that pursuing vocational skills is better, you can easily come to study some entrepreneurship skills, the director stated. “You can also call back to the directorate,” he added.

The Special Public Works (SPW) department head, Mr. Michael Adeyeye, reassured the graduates that they would soon receive their stipend payments and suggested them to use the meagre sum to launch a small business in order to better their lives.
