The Executive Chairman of Mangu Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bala Mwolpun on Wednesday, welcomed a delegation of former officials from Jos North Local Government, including the former Deputy Chairman and Supervisory Councillors, who were on a courtesy visit to his office in Mangu.
In a statement by the Director of Press and Publicity to the Executive Chairman of Mangu Local Government, Jeremiah Dakahap, the leader of the delegation, Hon. Mubarak Isa, a former Deputy Chairman of Jos North, said the visit was a gesture of goodwill to congratulate the Chairman on his recent victory at the polls, while also wishing him success in his new leadership position.
Hon. Mwolpun who expressed his delight at the visit, praised the thoughtfulness of the former officials of Jos North council where he was the DPM before contesting for the Mangu council chairmanship position.
“Mangu is your second home and you are welcome to visit at any time,” Mwolpun told the visitors.
Deputy Chairman, Hon. Nuhu Yakwen, who was also on hand to receive the delegates, extended his gratitude to the guests and wished them well in their future political endeavors.
