In marking his first 100 days in office, the Executive Chairman of Mangu local government area, Hon. Emmanuel Bala Mwolpun, has continued the second phase of commissioning landmark projects spread across the council.
A statement issued by the Director of Press and Publicity to the Chairman, Jeremiah Dakahap, reveals that after a round of commissioning of health care facilities and schools carried out on Monday, the council chair embarked on another round on Tuesday to the great delight of citizens of the council.
“As the people of Mangu Local Government wake up to a new day, they can look forward to improved healthcare services, thanks to the commissioning of two more Primary Health Care centers in Chakfem and Mangun,” Dakahap wrote.
“The commissioning, which took place yesterday (Tuesday), was performed by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Bala Mwolpun, and marks the continuation of the project inauguration exercise that started on Monday.
“This development represents a significant step forward in the administration’s efforts to improve healthcare in the area, and demonstrates their commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
“The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Nuhu Yakwen, Secretary of the Council, Hon. Tongpan Dachahat, all appointees, Directors and many other prominent officials.
“The commissioning is expected to conclude today with the inauguration of the final batch of projects.”
