The Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, has been honoured with the prestigious Excellence Leadership Award by the Legislative Writers Forum of the National Assembly, Abuja.
The award, according to a statement by Hon. Musa’s Director of Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Dembo, was in recognition of the Chairman’s exceptional leadership and dedication to the development of his community.
The statement said the forum led by Mr. Abraham Bogwaje, was impressed by the rapid pace of development and empowerment initiatives undertaken by the Kanam LGC Chairman, which they had closely followed through various media platforms.
“Seeking to experience these developments firsthand, the forum paid a visit to Kanam LGA and was pleased to witness the tangible impact of Hon. Musa’s initiatives,” the statement said.
“Prior to the award presentation, the Legislative Writers Forum had already rated Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa as the best-performing Chairman, and their visit only served to validate their observations.
“As they say, “seeing is believing,” and the forum was convinced by the Chairman’s achievements.In his response to the award, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa attributed his success to the leadership of Governor Mutfwang and the “Time is Now” initiative, which has been instrumental in driving developmental projects and empowerment programs in Kanam LGA.
“He emphasized that the Governor’s financial support has been crucial to the area’s progress, with all ongoing projects tracing their roots to this initiative.
“Hon. Musa expressed confidence that Kanam LGA will continue to benefit from future developments, underscoring the importance of collaborative leadership and visionary governance.
“The Excellence Leadership Award is a well-deserved recognition of Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa’s commitment to the development and empowerment of the people of Kanam LGA.
