The Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, has expressed his sadness over the death of former Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), General Jeremiah Timbut Useni, who died on Thursday after a protracted illness.
In a condolence message he personally signed on Friday, Hon. Musa said the elder statesman’s passing was a huge loss to the people of Plateau State and Nigeria in general as “his dedication, wisdom, and leadership will be deeply missed.”
In the message addressed to the Useni family with the title, “To the family of Senator Jeremiah Timbut Useni and the entire PDP family, Plateau State,” Hon. Musa said:
“I am writing to express my deepest condolences on the passing of Senator Jeremiah Timbut Hussaini, a distinguished PDP stakeholder on the Plateau State. This irreparable loss has left an immense void in the lives of those who knew and admired him.
“As the Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council, I had the privilege of witnessing Senator Hussaini’s tireless efforts to serve the people of Plateau State. His dedication, wisdom, and leadership will be deeply missed.
“In this moment of sorrow, I pray that God grants his family a special comfort and solace. May they find strength in the memories of his remarkable life and legacy.
“Please accept my sincerest sympathies.”
