Kanam LG Chairman, Hon. Ayuba Musa condoles with Plateau over killings

Hon. Musa who conveyed his condolences in a statement issued on Tuesday on his behalf by his Director of Media & Publicity, Ibrahim Yusuf Dembo, condemned the attacks and urged the youth to remain vigilant and cooperative with security agents

The Executive Chairman of Kanam local government council, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Executive Chairmen of Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Councils, Hon. Amalau Samuel Amalau and Hon. Joshua Sunday Riti, and the people of the state over the recent wave of killings in some communities where over 100 people have been killed and thousands displaced.

Hon. Musa who conveyed his condolences in a statement issued on Tuesday on his behalf by his Director of Media & Publicity, Ibrahim Yusuf Dembo, condemned the attacks and urged the youth to remain vigilant and cooperative with security agents by reporting suspicious activities or movements to help eliminate the perpetrators.

“Following the recent terrorist attacks that claimed innocent lives and destroyed properties worth millions in parts of the state, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa expressed his deepest sympathies to the affected communities in Bokkos and Bassa,” the statement said.

“He shared in their grief and assured them that Governor Mutfwang’s administration is working tirelessly to end these attacks.

“Hon. Ayuba urged the youth to remain vigilant and cooperative with security agents, reporting suspicious activities or movements to help eliminate the perpetrators.

“On behalf of the staff, management team, and the people of Kanam Local Government Council, Hon. Salihu Ayuba Musa prayed for the eternal rest of the departed souls and for everlasting peace and harmony in Plateau State,” he added.
