Puus Daar festival is a celebration of Mangun people's rich cultural heritage

The member representating Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. I.D Lalu, on Saturday, emphasized on unity as the bedrock of building a sustainable society at the Puus Daar 2025 cultural festival held in Mangun, Mangu local government area of Plateau State.

Lalu who attended the Puus Daar festival where the Mangun people’s rich cultural heritage was celebrated, noted that only unity among the people can bring development to the state.

Among distinguished guests in attendance at the festival were Hon. Amos Daniel, Chairman of the House Service at the National Assembly and Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Mathew Donatus, Hon. Edward Masha, PDP Chairman of Kaduna State, and Hon. Rufus Bature, APC Chairman of Plateau State.

The festival was marked by a display of generosity, with individuals donating handsomely to support the development of Mangun community. Notably, Hon. Amos Daniel donated N10 million, highlighting Hon. Dr. I.D Lalu’s strong connection to the community.

In his address, Hon. Dr. I.D Lalu emphasized the importance of unity in all endeavors, stressing that it is essential for the progress and development of the community.
