Hon. Dachung Bagos denies running illegal NGO extorting money from public

The member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, has distanced himself from an alleged Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) which has been extorting money from his unsuspecting constituents in the name of supplying them with fertiliser.

The House of Reps member debunked knowing anything about the NGO called ANCO and run by one Felix Pam as its cordinator, with a claim that it has his and that of Hon. Simon Mwadkond Fwet, supposedly for a “Farmers’ Mobilization for Fertilizer”

In the statement issued by the Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, Lang Pwajok, entitled reads:

“DISCLAIMER FROM THE OFFICE OF REP. DACHUNG MUSA BAGOS

“The attention of the Honorable Member Representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency has been drawn to a fraudulent syndicate going round duping constituents of their hard earned money in the guise of a “Non Governmental Organization (NGO) named ANCO with one Felix Pam as its cordinator with a claim that it has Support from Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos and Hon. Simon Mwadkond Fwet supposedly as Farmers’ Mobilization for Fertilizer”

“The Hon member wishes to draw the attention of constituents and the general public that his office is not aware of such a program least being a party to it.

“Constituents should kindly note that Hon. Bagos would always use appropriate channels and means of communication to inform constituents of any empowerment or intervention program and would not request constituents to pay any sum of money to benefit from empowerment interventions.

“The member appreciates the concern from leaders and constituents who drew the attention of his office to this nefarious act,” the disclaimer reads.
