Hon. Chief (Dr.) Bala Fwangje calls for calm amid EFCC invitation

Hon. Fwangje who was the former Chief Whip of the 10th Plateau State House of Assembly, assured his constituents and supporters that the ordeal was the handwork of detractors who are bent truncating the good works of Gov. Mutfwang.

Hon. Chief (Dr.) Bala Ndat Fwangje, the Liaison officer to Governor Caleb Mutfwang for Mangu South State Constituency, has called for calm following an invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), over alleged corruption and money laundering charges.

In a statement on Thursday, June 19, Hon. Fwangje who was the former Chief Whip of the 10th Plateau State House of Assembly, assured his constituents and supporters that the ordeal was the handwork of detractors who are bent truncating the good works of Gov. Mutfwang.

The statement by his media team and addressed to his constituents, said:

“Dear Mangu South State constituents, supporters, friends, and the good people of Plateau State, we are addressing you today in light of the recent press release by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) concerning allegations of money laundering and procurement issues during my tenure in the Plateau State House of Assembly.

“While this development has understandably raised concerns, we urge everyone to remain calm and patient as the legal process unfolds.

“Their legal team is fully engaged and actively working with the relevant authorities to clarify the facts and circumstances surrounding this matter.they are confident that the truth will prevail, and our names will be cleared in due course.

“As public servants, Hon Bala Fwangje and his honourable colleagues are committed to accountability, due process, and the rule of law.

“We encourage our constituents and well-wishers to avoid speculation and trial by media, trusting that justice will be served in due time.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to those who have offered their support and solidarity. Your trust is a source of strength, and we will continue to cooperate with the authorities transparently and respectfully. We are confident that posterity will judge us fairly.

“They will all emerge from this moment stronger and more determined to uphold the values of integrity and service that have guided our work.
