Gunmen suspected to be Fulani bandits have killed two students in a fresh attack in Gashish District, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
According to residents of the area, the victims identified as Obadiah Daryan (aged 25), a student of the National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI), Vom and Ezekiel Monday (aged 21), a student of Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS) Gashish, were killed along Kurra Falls road in the attack which occured on Thursday night.
It was reported that the students were ambushed by the gunmen and shot dead when they were on a motorcycle to Barkin Ladi town, while the attackers also carted away Obadiah’s phone.
In another attack on the same Thursday night, one Francis Samuel from Fass settlement was also reportedly stabbed in Kwi community
