As part of activities marking the 2025 Democracy Day celebration, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, will commission a series of impactful projects that underline his administration’s steadfast commitment to effective service delivery and people-centered governance.
Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Dr. Gyang Bere who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, said the schedule for commissioning will commence at 11am on on Thursday, June 12, 2025
“The projects reflect the government’s dedication to improving infrastructure, healthcare, and transportation across the state,” the statement said.
‘The highlights of the day’s events include:
1. Unveiling of Metro Buses 2.0
Venue: Old Government House, Rayfield
Time: 11:00 AM
2. Commissioning of Laboratory, Paediatric, and Administrative Office Complexes
Venue: Plateau Specialist Hospital
Time: 12:00 PM
3. Commissioning of Utonkon Bridge and Adjoining Roads
Time: 1:00 PM
“Governor Mutfwang has restated his administration’s resolve to continue translating policies into concrete developmental outcomes, in order to ensure that the dividends of democracy are felt across all sectors and communities in the state,” he said.
