Gov. Mutfwang Living Up To Expectation As Trains, Tin City Buses Return To Jos

For decades, Plateau state has lost its primary sources of commercial transport within and outside of the state capital. Tin city Buses and commuter trains, which were allowed to cease operations as a result of inadequate maintenance by past administrations, are among the modes of transport that benefit Plateau citizens.

Ever since Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang assumed office in 2023, He has made positive attempts to revive the rail system and other moribund state assets into usage.

It is well known that the train system has undergone testing some weeks ago where Citizens were overwhelmed with the recent developments made by the Governor.

While citizens were still applauding recent developments, the Executive Governor brought 20-seater buses powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to relaunch the state’s forgotten Tincity, which had operated for years.

The goal of reviving the rail system and Tincity buses is to modernise public transport and make commuting more accessible to state residents at affordable cost.

This notion arose shortly after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu removed fuel subsidies, resulting in high transportation costs, among other factors.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang revitalised road networks and railway lines throughout the state by maintaining and building high-quality roadways for a smooth ride.
