Gov. Mutfwang Condemns Recent Attacks in Plateau Communities, Orders Security Operatives To Search For Perpetrators

Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State, has once again strongly denounced the recent murderous attacks that have taken numerous lives and damaged property in the Kopnanle community in Mangu and Mandar Shar village in the Bokkos Local Government Areas of the state.

Some residents of the affected communities were hurt in the Friday night attacks. Governor Mufwang called the attacks regrettable and intolerable, particularly in light of the government’s concerted efforts to reestablish law and order, promote the repatriation of displaced people, and ease their return to their homes.

Governor Mutfwang issued a dire warning to those who carry out these heinous deeds, saying that the government is determined to find them and bring them to justice.

Governor Mutfwang encouraged Security Agencies to intensify their efforts in carrying out their constitutional duty of safeguarding innocent populations, even as he acknowledged their assistance in preserving lives and property in the state.

He prayed for the speedy recovery of individuals who were shot, and he sent his sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased and the impacted communities.

In order to address disagreements, the governor urged community stakeholders throughout the state to use conflict resolution procedures and promptly report any early warning indicators to the authorities designated by the state constitution.

In order to ensure a safer and more fruitful farming season, he asked state citizens to be vigilant and to establish relationships between communities, especially as the rainy season approaches.
