EFCC Arrests 35 Suspects In Plateau State For Alleged Cybercrimes

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)‘s Kaduna Zonal Command nabbed 35 people in Plateau State for their involvement in cybercrime. The group has 32 males and three females.

The arrests were made along Bauchi Road Bye Pass in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, following credible intelligence on their illegal actions.

During the operation, the EFCC seized 47 phones, five computers, two MacBooks, a black Peugeot 406 saloon with registration number JJN 140 BX, a black Mercedes-Benz with registration number BSA 331 AG, and a blue 2007 Toyota Camry with no number plate.

The suspects will be charged in court once the investigations are complete.
