Dr. Nentawe Yilwada Devotes Appeal Court Victory to God, Plateau People

Dr. Nentawe Yilwada, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in the 2023 General Election in Plateau State, has dedicated his election victory at the Appeal judgement delivered on Sunday 19th November 2023 in Abuja to Almighty God and people of plateau who remained undaunted despite all odd when the case lasted.

Nentawe advised all political actors across party lines to consider the peace of plateau state and behave with utmost sense of patriotism.

On Monday 20th November 2023, the joyful Dr Nentawe made the emotional appeal at a news conference and celebration of his Appeal victory held at the State Secretariat flyover along Jos Bukuru Road, plateau state.

Comrade Jibrin Bancir, the Deputy Director General Administration of the APC in the state, welcomed the PDP candidate’s decision to appeal the matter to the Supreme Court, but stressed that his indefatigable legal teams are always ready to defend his emphatic victory at the Apex court of the land. Furthermore, the Appeal Court believes that the new case will set a precedent and bring value to our legal jurisprudence.

Flanked by other aggrieved state local government chairmen, Nenetwe emphasised that the election umpire erred in the first instance in announcing his opponent Caleb Mutfwang of the PDP as the winner at the electoral tribunal meeting in plateau.

Add to that the Appeal Court has validated his underlying opinion that plateau people have been deprived of the opportunity to witness the implementation of our strategy, which would have been generating positive benefits by now.

Admonished supporters of the APC in the state, and by extension the people of the plateau, to be magnanimous in victory and to celebrate with modesty and decorum, with the highest respect for our opponents’ sensibilities, and advised all to be practitioners of the decency and decorum for which we are recognised.
