Delivering Clean Water to Plateau Southern Zone: Sen. AVM (Rtd) Napoleon Bali’s Commitment to Community Development

Access to clean water is a fundamental necessity, yet many communities across Plateau Southern Zone have long struggled with shortages. Recognizing this challenge, Sen. AVM (Rtd) Napoleon Bali has taken a decisive step to address the issue by sponsoring five solar-powered industrial borehole water projects in select communities across Mikang and Langtang North LGAs.

These fully operational boreholes come equipped with overhead tanks to ensure a steady supply of drinking water for the people, as well as reservoirs for animals, ensuring that both human and livestock populations benefit from this essential resource. This initiative aligns with the development agenda of the PDP-led government under Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, reinforcing efforts to improve living standards and infrastructure across Plateau State.

Expanding the Reach: More LGAs to Benefit

The impact of this project is only beginning. Currently, hydro geo-surveys are ongoing in Quanpan and Langtang South LGAs to identify suitable water sites. Once completed, similar boreholes will be constructed, with Shendam and Wase LGAs next in line for intervention.

This initiative is more than just a response to water scarcity—it is a strategic investment in public health, economic stability, and overall community well-being. By ensuring access to clean water, Sen. Bali is not only addressing an immediate need but also laying the groundwork for sustainable development in the entire Plateau Southern Senatorial District.

As more projects come to completion, residents can look forward to a future where clean and accessible water is no longer a privilege but a right for all.

To God be the glory for these remarkable achievements!
