The Hon. Dachung Bagos Scholarship Scheme has once again recorded success as some of its beneficiaries were recently inducted as Medical Laboratory Scientists by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN). The ceremony took place at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the College of Medical Sciences, University of Jos Teaching Hospital (JUTH), Lamingo.

The scholarship scheme, initiated by Hon. Dachung Bagos, is a fully funded program that caters for students from their first year until graduation. It provides support across secondary, tertiary, and postgraduate levels, making it one of the most impactful educational interventions in Plateau State.
Among the beneficiaries inducted into the medical profession are Esther Atong (MLS), Ibrahim Mamman Pate (MLS), Hannatu Agwom (MLS), and Nyam Choji (MLS). More beneficiaries under the scheme are expected to graduate in the upcoming academic session.
The initiative has opened doors of opportunity for many students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and equity in access to quality education.

Speaking after their induction, the beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Bagos for the scholarship opportunity, describing it as life-transforming. They emphasized that his commitment to education continues to empower youths even after leaving public office.
They also noted that the scheme represents a model of leadership that prioritizes human capital development, creating a ripple effect that will benefit society at large.

In a statement, Hon. Bagos, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dafwam Yakubu Danja, reaffirmed his passion for supporting education, stressing that the best investment any leader can make is in the future of the younger generation.
