Bassa LG Boss Set to Distribute Palliatives to 16 Fed. Wards

The Chairman of Bassa Local Government Council in Plateau State, Hon. Fidelis Adara, is preparing to distribute Palliatives to the 16 Federal Wards of the region. In order to carry out this task, a committee has been inaugurated by Adara, who urged them to approach the task diligently and with commitment.

During the inauguration, Adara revealed that the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has procured over 3,000 bags of rice to be distributed as relief to the poorest individuals in all 17 Local Government Areas of the state. This initiative aims to alleviate the current hardship faced by the citizens.

Adara emphasized the importance of the committee being prepared for the distribution process. It is crucial for them to identify the most disadvantaged members of their communities, ensuring that the targeted individuals receive the palliatives.

Speaking on behalf of the committee members, Prince Robert Dodo, Chairman of the Iregwe Development Association (IDA), expressed gratitude to the government for the opportunity to serve in the distribution of palliatives in Bassa Local Government.

He acknowledged that their close proximity to the grassroots would enable them to accurately select those in need of assistance.

He also appreciated the chairman and the governor for their compassionate efforts and promised that the committee would diligently adhere to the specified timelines and directives.
