All is set for the much anticipated Plateau State Interdenominational Unity Christmas Carols and Praise Festival which kicks off on Friday, November 29th at the 10 Commandment Prayer Altar, Doi, DU, in Jos South local government area.
Ahead of the event, Governor Caleb Mutfwang took it upon himself to visit the venue and expressed satisfaction with preparations while lauding the organizing committee for a job well done.
While speaking during the inspection tour of the venue of the first-ever festival, Mutfwang commended the committee for their efforts in ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated event.
“I am pleased with what I have seen today regarding the venue’s preparation. The committee in charge has done an excellent job.
“We look forward to tomorrow with great excitement as this marks the beginning of a new journey toward purposeful unity for the people of Plateau State,” Governor Mutfwang stated.
He also assured attendees and visitors of adequate security and seamless logistics, emphasizing that seating arrangements, conveniences, and parking facilities are in optimal condition.
“This place will be well-secured, and people should feel free to come. By God’s grace, the next three days will be exciting for Plateau residents and visitors alike,” he assured.
The festival, the first of its kind in the state, is organized in collaboration with the Plateau State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), and will feature renowned dignitaries, including former Head of States General Yakubu Gowon and General Olusegun Obasanjo who will serve as Father of the Day and Special Guest of Honour respectively.
The event will run from November 29 to December 1, beginning from 3:30pm with promises of unity, celebration, and spiritual upliftment for attendees.
